Quilt With Us

My other half became a grandpa for the 4th time this month.  Baby wasn't due until 9-4 but mom went into labor on labor day and delivered on the 2nd.  Mom and baby are doing fine.  He now has 3 granddaughters and one grandson.

Yup they both have about the same amount of hair.  Abigail weighed in at just over 6 lbs.  she is tiny but healthy.

In other news, I found some cute patterns to embriodery with my mamoth singer embriodery machine. I found this on the Secrets of Embroidery site.  I am working on 4 or 5 of them to put into a quilt for the new member of the family.  I have a few other designs that I can add to the baby quilt and will put her name and date of birth on it as well.

I'm still working on the one quilt that I posted pictures of before on my Longarm and hope to finish that one this week.  I've been debating with myself about making pillow shams to match the quilt top.  The mind says yes but the hands just haven't gotten the message yet.

So while the embroidery machine is running I've been working on bathing the dogs.  I've gotten two out of the five of them washed.  They were the easy ones to catch.  The rest of them caught on as to what was going on and are now hiding under the bed.  They have to come out sometime and eat, right?

Congratulation on the new baby.  Grandpa looks very happy with her.  I love your embroidery design. I got a laugh out of your dogs hiding under the bed to escape their bath. lol

That's going to be an adorable quilt.  Can't wait until it's all finished and you post a picture.

Have fun bathing the dogs.  I gave up on that a few years ago, and now let a groomer do it. I can't face the commotion!
