Quilt With Us

I am retired and live in Lindsay, Ontario. I have been trying to 'quilt' for about a year now. happy to learn anything that will improve my sewing. Look forward to talking to as many of you as possible.

I am interested in knowing if there is anyone else from Lindsay in this group.

Hi Lucille, Welcome to Connecting Threads!  You will find lots of wonderful people on this site.  You will get lots of very useful information as well as lots of friends!  Even though I'm not Canadian, I have been to Ontario several times - beautiful country! Vicki/NY

Hello Lucille, you will learn many helpful tricks on here, but probably not from me, ;0).  I wish that I could stop time while I go to work and then have 18 hrs. to sew/quilt.  I envy you your retirement!  Looking forward to tracking your progress.

Lucille, there is a great quilt guild in your area they have wonderful work, I always go to their quilt show at the curling club when they have it and have not been disappointed. I live in Pickering/Scarborough right on the boarder if you are down this way email me would love to get together.

I know about time management, I have dishes in the sink laundry backed up and know that it will be there when I sit a few stitches. I do take time for me, I work FT and PT so my time is filled, no kids not sure how others do it with kids

Enjoy the wonderful albums that everyone posts and check out the groups they are very helpful.

And a big welcome
