Quilt With Us

I finished another purse today.  The design is from Kreative Kiwi, which is a machine embroidery site from New Zeeland.  I made the front & back using my embroidery machine & then assembled the purse using my regular sewing machine.  I decided to add the heart shaped button to make the flap lay down flatter.  The fabrics were purchased in 2007 and were part of a line that promoted ovarian cancer research.

Thanks Peggy.  The reason it was easy for me to remember purchasing this fabric is because I was working at the quilt store where I bought it at the time.

That's very pretty! Nice work. It's amazing you remember when you purchased the fabrics and the details about them.

Thanks Irene.  Kreative Kiwi provided instructions for the whole thing.  They also have a version with lace that I might do as well.

I really like this purse. Very pretty fabric and stylish. Did you make your own pattern?
