Quilt With Us

I'm celebrating!!!!

I'm so excited, I've been working on my Egg Money quilt for a year now and have pieced the top except for the borders.
YIPPEE!!!

I wanted to share a picture with you. I'll post another as soon as I finish the borders. I needed a little celebration time first.

Hi Ronda, The egg money quilt is very nice. I love that 30's fabric. How many of those squares are applique?I am scared to death of them. As I said, it is gorgeous.......................

Ditto to what Linda,Paula,Judy and Peggy said. Somehow you have achieved a real look thirtie's quilt! excellent work! I am working on the rocky road to kansas with Ellen's instructions. I saw one done up and said that it would be a perfect way to use up my scraps! HAH! couldn't stop at that point, could I? NOoooooooooooooo!!! wound up buying more fabric and starting more projects so I could have.......yup.....more scraps for the string piecing! woe is me.

Ronda,
Congratulations! Your egg money quilt looks great, is it for your bed? I bought that book for my sister last year, I think she hasn't even made any blocks yet. I guess she is working on other projects. She would love your quilt, you used fabrics that she loves. Have fun finishing it. I am working on a quilt for my grandson, its four different nine patches. With sashing and other fun stuff. I can't wait to see yours finished.
Have fun,
Linda

This quilt gets me ready for spring. I bought a pack of these fabrics awhile back and never used them. Maybe I will do this quilt. I like samplers like this. Beautiful work.

That is beautiful! I have the book and want to make it too, seeing yours inspires me! Maybe after I finish a few more UFOs.
