Quilt With Us

I am trying to design a baby quilt for my great nephew, who is due in one month.  I want to use 6" and 12" blocks, but can't figure out how to add both sizes using electric quilt.  If I set the quilt to 6" finished blocks it won't let me add a 12" that covers where 4 - 6" blocks would be in the quilt.  If this makes any sense, and you can help, I would appreciate it.  Obviously, I have put off making this quilt as long as I can!

Thanks Janet.  I was able to get an okay layout using the custom quilt setting.  Not sure why you can't use a grid and add different size blocks especially if they are divisible by the grid block size.  But maybe you can, still new to EQ.  But thanks for your help.  I am on my way to getting the baby quilt made.

You need to use the custom quilt setting in order to put different sized blocks in to the same quilt.  If you have EQ7, I would advise you to print off the lesson plan which you will find under the help section.  Then just follow it to get the feel for how this works.   It is really easier than it first appears to be so don't get discouraged.
