Quilt With Us

It is September and the fall season is about to begin. September 1st, Dove Hunting Season, brings me memories of my grandmother, who's birthday was on that day as well. The shorter days of sunlight also bring cool evening breezes and a hint of cooler weather to come. County fairs and Friday night football are other great September events. The season change has energized me to complete three projects using the Golden Summer fabrics. These colors reflect the early fall season here in California. I now have three runners to use on my tables. I am really pleased with how they turned out. I am now working on Halloween projects for October. The last four months of the year are always filled with events which inspire me to create quilt projects.

May all of you enjoy this September season.

Kathleen, yes, our evenings are cooler and the days are definitely getting much shorter. Have a great fall! Anxiously awaiting to see your photos.
