Quilt With Us

I woke up late with my granddaughter today. As I have a doctor's appt at mid-morning, we took our time eating breakfast, even got to watch some PBS show. After dropping her off at the day care, I realized I stil have 45 minutes to kill, so I drove across town and went to the fabric store, 'Just to look', I told myself. However, there was a shelf of fabrics on sale at $1.00 a yard, and I found 2 bolts of flannel, so perfect for the baby quilts I have planned to make. $28.00 for the 2 bolts, ain't that a bargain? One bolt is pink and the other is of tiny floral pinks and green on a white background. I was a little late for my doctor's appt., but when the nurse took my blood pressure, she said it was very good. Needless to say I had my fabric fix this morning, and that took care of my blood pressure.
Happy quilting, everyone!

Aida, no wonder your BP was so good. If I got fabric for $1./yd. my BP would be good too. I need to have a fabric fix soon. Have not been fabric shopping since May. If I soon don't get to a store, online here I come. LOL

Fabric shopping for therapeutic reasons, I like that. I knew I did it for metal therapy didn't know it had physical therapy involved too! I think $1 a yard is unbelievable way to go!!
