Quilt With Us

I've been putzing around with little fall things lately.  The runner is something we did in our quilt group on Saturday.  I'm having a hard time trying to convince a few of the ladies that, yes, they can do their own free motion quilting.  So, this was a quick project to try to sell them on the idea.

The stems and vines on your pumpkins look like wreaths from a distance.  Very similar to thread painting without as much thread.

Very nice.  Love the pumpkins!

Fun Halloween pieces--I especially like the jack o'lanterns. It has been a difficult transition for me from hand quilting to doing any quilting by machine. Smaller is easier. Practice, practice, practice. Swear and pray.

Roxann, I'm willing to give that glass of wine technique a try.  It's probably like anything else, practice, practice, practice ;-P

LOVE all of these! A glass of wine takes the edge off when doing free motion. Sounds funny it's true! :)

Cute!  FMQ takes constant practice, but small projects are fun to do!

Absolutely adorable...once you start FMQ it gets easier. Great projects!
