Quilt With Us

At long last I can see graduation day in sight. On May 4th, I will be graduating from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan and I have been informed that I will be graduating magna cum laude! Not too bad for an "old" fossil, eh?! LOL. I know that you can't be here in person to share my joy, so thought I would send you the link so that you can see it live via your computer. Ain't modern technology grand!

Hard to believe that I started this journey in 2007 when I walked into the doors of Alpena Community College and then graduated from there with honors in 2007. At that time I thought I had completed my educational experience, but with the encouragement and support of my husband Ray, members of ACC and dear friends and family, I entered the Ferris Bachelor's of Integrated Studies program. Just goes to show that you can do anything you put your mind to regardless of age and that it is NEVER too late to go for your dreams.

Here is the link for the May 4th Commencement Exercises. It has all the information regarding time, etc.

Hope you'll share the day with me. After all, you had a part in my success.
