This morning the sky is bright blue, no wind, the mountains still have a little of Wednesday's snow, no wind, the forest fires in Yellowstone have subsided, no wind, the grass is green, and the trees are turning to gold. Did I mention--no wind? Perfect.
I'm trying to get a few loose ends tied up so I can play in my sewing room tomorrow. Even if it is work/play (working on mystery quilt pattern) it still involves me cutting up fabric, sewing, smelling the sizing rising from the ironing board, maybe a little unsewing. I can't wait! Can you imagine not loving fabric? I can't. I love the way it looks, feels (or I won't buy it), smells, the color, the pattern. Oooh, I want to go play now but must get some work done. Tomorrow!
My Australian Shepard had an abscessed tooth and had to have it pulled and taked antibiotics for 2 weeks. He is feeling a lot better today. Hopefully he will be back to his normal obnoxious bossy self soon. Just like the sick kid who is sweet and quiet--who needs that?
Have a happy quilting day, weekend or even just an hour.
