Quilt With Us

Using 12 embroidered handkerchiefs I designed a small quilt.  It begged to be hand quilted and so I did.

Judith, this is gorgeous! Beautiful fabrics that compliment each handkerchief. The hand quilting finishes your heirloom.

I'm so happy that you hand quilted this treasure! It finishes it perfectly.

A gorgeous quilt and those hankies will also be remembered and have a history and story to go with them. Great Job!!!!!!

So sweet! I wish I had a few to make a quilt. Still have one from my childhood days, that I used.

I let a student today wipe her hands on my cloth napkin. She had to take a second look, like she had never used a cloth napkin to clean or dry her hands. We do live in a paper throw away society, but for my nose I still want the paper to throw away the germs.

Nice work, Judith!  I love how you handled the layouts and gave each one just the right "frame" to showcase the hankies.  The handquilting is just icing on the cake!
