Quilt With Us

I hope everyone has a chance to do at least a little bit of quilting today.  I certainly didn't need another project to work on, but I decided to go ahead and participate in Edyta Sitar's 2020 mystery that started yesterday.  So I'm going to spend part of today working on block #2.  Need 8 of them, but they should be fairly quick to make.

This quilt is going to be beautiful with those colors!  I haven't been able to use my machine since the 3rd week in January due to shoulder surgery.  I am really getting the itch!  Soon I will try doing a little at a time, but the rotary cutter will be a challenge yet.

It will be fun to see your finished quilt.

Here is a pic of blocks 1&2 together.  I am using fabrics from my stash, but sticking to the blue & pink colorway that Edyta is using.

These will go in to the 4 corners each with the light pink facing toward the center of the quilt.

Handstitcher,  I'm looking forward to seeing pics of your wallhanging.  You are so good at rescuing those vintage blocks and quilts!

Glad you’re staying busy at home, Janet. Be sure to post pictures of your blocks. I’m working on setting some vintage blocks into a wall hanging. Didn’t like the sashing measurements the first time around, so I took it all apart and reduced the size. Since my state is now under an official stay at home order, I’ve got time to work this through!
