Quilt With Us

Well I have been one busy lady over the past week. Have finished putting on the "first" coat of paint to the exterior of my home (changed from an ugly faded salmon pink to white with black trim), and am working on cleaning the inside. In between the painting and the cleaning, I had a wedding to photograph and it was quite lovely on the shores of Lake Huron in Oscoda, Michigan. Have a little sunburn from that, but worth it. Now preparing for MIL and SIL visit on the 1st and this will happen immediately after our return from Virginia to see my 87 year old dad.

Within a week or two after the inlaws leave I will be having a book signing at the Blue Phoenix in Alpena, Michigan! More on exact date and time when I find out. I have had a few inquiries about autographing copies of the book, if you are interested in having that done, you can order the book through me and I'll be glad to autograph it for you. Now THAT feels weird to say. ~2~ Just fire me off an email, terrinv@yahoo.com, and I'll let you know what the prices are. I even have one book sold, it was an ebook download that my neighbor purchased and I had to laugh as she was trying to figure out how I could autograph her ebook! The book, Musings and Short Stories, is available in hardback, paperback and ebook download from Borders, Amazon or Xlibris or you can have your local book store order it for you. I have all the ISBN numbers if you'd like them.

I have sold a few of my baskets and must say that I am feeling content. My next "big" accomplishment will be graduating with my Bachelor's Degree from Ferris State University in either the spring of 2012 or the fall of 2012. Have to make sure have all the credits in line.

Gotta run and get back to work. Today all work will be done inside as it is 93 here in Ossineke, MI today. I'm afraid that if I tried to put on the second coat of paint on the outside of the house, it would dry on the brush!

Have a great day all!

Terri, I am excited for you and wish you lots of luck on your book sales.  I think you are probably pretty smart to not try to paint in the heat that you are experiencing.  Your paint might not dry in the brush but you might dry out in the heat.
