Quilt With Us

Here I am in Kauai and I am still thinking of quilting. As I was perusing one of the tourist magazines they have here in Hawaii, I noticed an ad for a shop thar sells Hawaiian print fabrics. My first thought was what a cute table runner I could make out of Hawaiian prints, and what a terrific souvenir that would be. I quickly emailed my friend Linda for some fabric amlounts for a couple of patterns from Let's Do Lunch. I'm hoping we will find some down time from the beach to run into town and get some fabrics. The other three women with me asked if I would make runners for them too. Fun! Heard from my family that it is snowing and below zero at home in Wisconsin - 82 degrees here. Oh well!

Please bring some warm home with you. Start dropping it on the west coast as you travel over our cold and colder state of Washington. Glad to hear you are having a good time. My kids got home from their honeymoon late tuesday night. They called to say hi and that the weather was perfect the whole week they were on Maui. Hope you have been as lucky. How is that new granddaughter doing? Have a safe trip home.

Hi Kathy--I'm sure you're family was just delighted to hear from you. When you get home with a tan I'm sure they will think that's fun too. Buy fabric for souvenirs--it's way better than a Tiki god. Aloha!
