Quilt With Us

Ok so I went to the quilt show this past weekend in Hampton, Va and was inspired to start EPP.  There was this beautiful quilt with 12,256 hexagons.  I bought some hexis and some honeycomb pieces.  I have started this really cute piece I will probably make a pot holder out of.  All is going really good though until I cut 1" squares in half to finish the block.  I can not figure out how to fold the fabric around the tiny half square triangles to get it right at the points. Is there anyone out there that has any pointers on these little  triangles?

My friend Vicki Bellino has a great EPP video right here on this site.  Here's the link.  She starts with hexagons, but then does diamonds with sharp points.  Take a look.

Monika, Cindy from CD Designs has some excellent tutorials for EPP.  Check out the one for triangles here.
