Hi Ho Hi Ho Its Back to School We Go......

Well kid #1 is on the bus and off to High School. If I don't get any phone calls I'll be good. Kid # 2 leaves in 2 hours and my mom will put him on the bus. Then tonight.... the homework and the first day of school it will all me mine. Filling out all those forms drives me batty after a while.

I hope anyone else starting school today or recently has a great day and I commiserate with those that get to fill out all the papers ;-)

My heart goes out to you. I am so glad those days are behind me. ARGH! The homework thing can sure be ugly some evenings. Take care and know that we are all thinking of you.

I don't know which is worse -- filling out all the forms or trying to pry them back from my homeroom students! I don't have to fill them out anymore (my youngest started her sophomore year at university today -- I'm truly not that old!) but in a few weeks, I'll be trying to get my students to bring them back from home.

I'm wishing everyone a happy "back-to-school" too!

We're reluctantly getting back into the school routine as well. My homework days were last week, so I shouldn't have any more forms to fill out this week. But is seems the craziness has started already. For a gal who doesn't like anything on the calendar, the days are filling up fast with places to go and things to do. :( Hope your kids have a great school year.

Well my baby just left for her last day in High school, or the first day of her Senior year, how ever you want to say it, I am still sad. Sniff!! She has been teasing me all week about it because I tear up, but then this morning when the water works started she didn't think it was so funny any more. Then to add to that our son turns 21 on Saturday. Oh brother, I'm going to have to invest in alot of kleenex this week.

My form filling days are over, I had three shoving papers at me on the first day of school, I was always up late that first day. I miss that now that they are grown and gone. (Not the papers, the excitement of the kids!) And it always amazed me how much money went out the door that first week! New clothes, shoes, fees, club dues, those little newspapers for books, etc... Have a great year with them, form-filling and all!

Yes, I'm looking forward to filling out all those forms, emergency cards, etc. Plus, I'll just open the checkbook and watch the money fly away.....My new high schooler is getting ready walk out the door and I'll follow to my school a half hour later. My second child gets to wait until Wednesday to begin. Thank heavens DH is home this week. Happy form-filling to all and to all a great year!
