Quilt With Us

I had a fabulous time on my trip. Yes, the days on the bus were long but not awful but... the show was Fabulous!!! OMG I'm so glad I was able to go. Besides the show we went to the museum (which is worth the trip by itself). And there were other venues with quilts scattered around Paducah. Too much fun!

On our way home we stopped in Omaha, on a Sunday, and the wonderful people at the university showed us quilts from their collection and showed us around their the amazing quilt study facility.

Now I am trying to get laundry, house, yard, garden all caught up (Yeah, like that's going to happen) so I can finish my work. Egads, Friday is MAY!

Yes, PQ, after I rechecked my itinerary--I was in Lincoln. Even if I lost track of my location, it was still fabulous! Good thing I wasn't driving.

Barbara, were you in Lincoln at the International Quilt Study Center and Museum right next to East Campus of UNL?  Maybe Omaha has a quilt study facility as well and I'm just not aware of it.  I have been to the one in Lincoln and it is fabulous.

Glad you had a great time.  Sounds like a wonderful trip.

Quilt show envy!  That one is for sure on my "someday list"!

That is definitely on the list to do soon! Sounds like you had a great time...stopping in Omaha was an added bonus. A quilt study facility...sounds like heaven!

What???? Hubby didn't have everything done? lol

As you're doing chores, you can design a quilt for your next book using some of the ideas you saw!

I'm happy to hear you had a great trip.  I have never gone to the show, but I did visit the museum & loved every minute of it.  My husband enjoyed it as much, if not more than, I did.  We definitely plan on going again.

Glad you had a good time and made it safely back!  Bus trips with other quilters are not as tiresome as a bus trip with assorted strangers!  Would love to see that show sometime.
