Quilt With Us

I don't know what is happening. I seem to not ever find time to do any quilting. I have been so busy......but I don't know at what! The desire is definitely there....but I can't seem to get into the sewing room.

I know one thing that has me stalling. I have to assemble the Handi-quilter II frame and have no idea how to begin. I don't know if it is one person job or if I need Rick to help me. I must get that done, though.

I traveled to visit my sister and BIL this past weekend and had a very pleasant time. Rick had a gig with the "wedding band" he plays with and had to spend most of the weekend doing that, so I just took off. It is always relaxing there (my mother's house) and my sister has been hard at work on making the house "her" home. And she is doing a great job. I love everything she has done. I did do some hand piecing on my fans!

I have to go pick up 2 of the grands today after Bible Study and we will keep them till Friday a.m. Their parents are on a much needed vacation to Punta Cana and I hope they are having a wonderful time. I know we will have a great time with Libby and Joe.

We had planned to travel to the races at Charlotte this weekend and I think we have just about talked ourselves out of it. So MAYBE, just maybe, I can get that frame up and figure out how to use it. Also, some alien from outer space took over my body and volunteered to host a party here on June 9th for the Holy Huddle....our Bible Study group. Whaaaaat! I need to start getting ready for that.....because my time gets chewed up quickly and it will be here before I know it and I will be racing around here like a chicken with its head cut off.

It is time for me to leave. I'll check in while children nap for the next few days.
Blessings, Becky

Putting up a Handi Quilter is not hard, just follow the directions step by step. I did it by myself, because my husband and I don't put things together very well, we both want to be in charge Haha!

I can relate. Don't know where the days go, but I never seem to get quite caught up enough to have any quilting time to spare. Hang in there.

I'm headed to a Beth Moore conference in Laramie WY with a friend this weekend.

What a great Bible study group name! :0)
