I have always had a love for fibers. The textures and the colors always intrigue me. I love picking out new fabrics for a quilt even though I have plenty af fabric at home. Nothing makes me feel quite so happy as finding the "perfect" filler.
I was born Christmas eve and am drawn to santas, snowmen and angels. But that is not what a lot of my quilting is with. Living in the southwest, I tend to lean toward horses and wildlife, and the beautiful colors of the mountains.
My first quilt was done in rusts and creams. The last one I pieced is very bright, with vibrant blues, greens, and purple. What will the next one be?

I may not be as good as I would like at picking colors for my quilts but, I could see a picture forming in my mind and you said the colors in your quilts. As strange as it may seem, when I saw that picture, it was a star shape. Almost always, they are star shaped.
Thanks for sharing and Welcome to QWU.
