It is spring today`
Not actually spring but feels like it. We went to DH's doctor and he got a semi -answer that he wanted. He told him he could putt and chip (golf) but not use the driver yet. He is thankful for anything that would get him out of his chair. Hig leg is not quite healed but almost there.
The flower beds need work. My weeping cherry tree is blooming! I got it last year after it had bloomed and I am so glad to see it this year. It is white. The blooms come out and then they fall and the leaves come out.
We went to Popeye's for the Shrimp tackle box meal. There food is quite spicy. It was good though. At least I don't have to cook.
Are you familiar with Donna Poster and her "foldy" patterns? I am doing the "foldy log cabin". It is such fun. It is a foundation type of quilting. She says she doesn't do much quilting on it because of the thickness of it. It is s fun quilt to do. I have 30 blocks made and need gezillions more. They are 7 1/2" in size.

Betty!! how is Mary's daughter doing? I don't want to bother her and I thought you would know. Linda wrote me and wondered how Sarah was doing, and then that got me wondering too. I wrote you awhile back, but no answer from you, so it probably got lost. I did the foldy pattern a few years back and forgot about it. it does sound like a nice summer weight quilt. Glad to hear your hubby is back at golf.

YOur "foldy" patterns sound interesting. I will look for her book. My weeping cherry is also white, but it's buds are still tighter than a drum. 35 degrees is not a good temp to open up to. When yours is green, mine will be white. Because of our lake, we are one of the nursery centers. I live 10 miles from it and in the snow belt. There is hope, the lilacs are trying to bud out. I see green. HooRay!!
