Quilt With Us

Finally got that paper-pieced turtle quilt set off to my sister in law.  She loved it, thought it was so cute.  I really wish I could post a photo, I've tried everything I can think of.  My Vivitar digital camera software just isn't going to cooperate.  Anyway, if any of you have gone to Java House quilts and seen the original pattern, you'll have a pretty good idea what it looks like.  Only real difference is the fact that I used a whole strip of a cute cartoon turtle print for the outer border, instead of the blue and green squares.

Well done!  Way to see it through to the end.  I'm so glad she loved it!  Makes all that hard work and frustration a little bit easier to bear.

I'm sure you felt immensely relieved when that quilt was done & she loved it!  Some times there are patterns that just make us want to toss the whole thing in the trash so kudos to you for sticking with it.

I did check out that pattern on Java House Quilts - love it!  Your SIL is one lucky lady.  She probably has no idea of how much work you put into that quilt.
