Quilt With Us

I finally quilted & bound a row robin that was started about 11 or 12 yrs ago by a group of internet friends.  I sent everyone the black fabric with bright polka dots.  Then I assigned each person a specific color combination and asked them to make me six 6" Sawtooth Star blocks using the polka dot fabric as the background and choosing a different center for their block than what anyone else had done.  I had received a lot of compliments on it.  I'm going to enter it to hang at the public library in Columbia MO for the month of April as the theme is quilts made by more than 1 person.

Then I decided it was time to make a quickie little vertical wallhanging for a narrow wall next to my hall bathroom.  I machine embroidered the 3 snowmen blocks and then just put them together with no borders.  Easy peasy quilting & was done in 2 days.

Last but not least I decided to participate in a monthly contest that required I  purchase a tablerunner design from Sweet Pea, a company in Australia.  This only took me a couple of days to make as well.

I love the round robin quilt. Congratulation on finishing it.  The snowman runner is nice.  I like anything with a snowman on it. The sweet pea runner is very pretty.  Looks like a fun project.
