Quilt With Us

Hubby and I went to pick up my machine from the Viking store. The gal that works there is a real sweetheart and enjoys her job. She was treating the machine like it was my baby. When we left the store, hubby was laughing at her calling it my kid. I actually felt like something was missing in the house for two weeks!
So, I went down and hid one of his bows for hunting. We were having dinner and he asked if I'd been downstairs. Why????
I just think something is missing but can't figure what it is!!!!
Really???? Go figure
I'll let him wonder for a couple of weeks!!
Yes my machine is my friend!!! I missed her!!!!

That's good! I need to remember that one.

Good move. It doesn't do to let them get away with making fun of our attachment to our machines.

You must be trucking to Cicero now too Pam.  Which girl did you get?  They are all pretty nice but Emily (from the Fayetteville store) is my favorite!  I hope you haven't had troubles with your machine.  My Diamond embroidery machine just went back for the fourth time in a year.  It stitches great but the screen gets black lines on it that take over, so you don't know what you're stitching!!!  This time they are waiting for the Queen of Viking to give permission to send it out of state, Tennessee perhaps?  If this doesn't work I will try an exorcism!

I named my machine. We spend so much time together, and when I'm having a bad day I like to lock myself in my sewing and sew. She is like a family member!

Your hubby has been married to you long enough to smell a rat...  He knows something's up, so until he figures it out, he'll be on his toes.  Keeps life interesting and fun.  Thanks for my chuckle this morning.

You're good!  Can't think of a better way to get a point across.  I hate it when my machine is at the shop.  Never is my urge to quilt stronger than when I can't .

I  just took my machine in on Tues and won't get it back until July 5th. I miss her, but do have my Baby Lock as a stand by. I would never have thought of hiding something of DH's, which I think is hilarious and seeing how much fun you are having, Life is our's to enjoy!!!!!

Your too funny Pam.   Your story about the bow reminded me of Bud's hair clippers I used to shave the rug.  He never did find out about that and I still use those clipper to cut his hair. lol
