Kathleen...I wallpapered that kitchen 19 years ago and the switch plates were a challenge. I see that wallpaper is making a big comeback...so I guess I'm back in style!

Wow, I've never done that kind of work. I remember my mom canning tomatoes though and I remember it looking like a lot of work. Closest thing I've come to this is making tomato puree from my dad's homegrown tomatoes. And I gotta say, I love your camouflaged wall plates :o)

Beautiful photos!  You are so right about thinking twice before giving any away.  It would have too be to someone that totally appreciates and understands the labor that goes into this.

Looks good!  It is a lot of work, but seeing those beautifully filled jars makes it all worth it!

I hear you Pam. I use to can a lot. Everything from veggies to deer meat. I would have two pressure cookers going at the same time. It is laboring work from the time you plant until you eat it. I buy my fresh veggies at local farmers markets now. When I started reading your post of "natures bounty" the first thing I seen was your paper towels. I was a bit confused until I kept scrolling. lol Don't get old, strange things start happening in your head. lol
