After a friend, seeing my newest flannel rag quilt, commissioned me to make a baby girl rag quilt for her upcoming grand nieces baby (in February). SO I have it in progress and really like it. Got an in progress pics to show you. The center is sewn together. The outside round is waiting to be sandwiched and added to the top.
UPDATE: I finished it today. It measures 38" x 46" and is just so lovely. It's had one washing so know it will "rag" more with more washing.

Rag quilts are wonderful for babies! This one is very fun!
the perfect cuddle quilt! Nice, Thel. Using from the stash is always good.
Thanks Sharon. I won't be able to do much else with flannel after this quilt, but considering that I had an amazing stash and haven't bought any fabric in 4 years, but constantly make quilts, I"m making he most of my old stash. I love playing with flannel.....
It's perfect for a baby girl and will be used for years. Your fabric stash is wonderful.
May not be perfect fabric combinations..........but it's all from stash, so doing the best I can to make her what she wants and use what's on hand..........She saw it today and loves it, so that's all that matters.
