Quilt With Us

I am in the last semester towards earning my Bachelor's Degree from Ferris State University and have discovered  that, unlike previous semesters, I do not have any "me" time! <sigh>. I am up at 6 a.m. and in bed at 2 a.m. (earliest) and between all the required reading (8 different books), online postings, assignments and such, I do not have any time for anything else.

Sadly, I've had to withdraw from several swaps that I was so looking forward to doing, such as the 12x12 and the String pieced and thread paintings. This is all on hold until at least the end of May when, if all goes well, I will graduate.

So, if no one sees or hears from me for a while, this is the reason. I will try to pop in from time to time, but can't make promises.

All the best,

Terri returning to her studies in snowy Ossineke, MI

It was nice of you to take time out of your busy schedule to come and say hello. I admire you.

You are amazing. You will be greatly missed, but it is for a great cause.  Pop in when you need a chuckle, a distraction, a cheering squad. We're here for you.

I think we all have had our times of "distraction" from our quilting friends here at Connecting Threads. The good thing to remember is that we'll still be here whenever you get back to us! Your education is an important part of your life-take some time to finish and become the person you were meant to be! Pursue your passion!

Graduation will arrive sooner than you think--hang in there! :)

Hang in there...And good luck.  It will all be worth it in the end.

Good luck,  the degree will surely come in very handy.  However, do give yourself some "ME" time so that you can tackle all of your study requirements.  Your mind and body will thank you for it.

There's plenty of time for sewing after the degree...education first! Good luck...
