Quilt With Us

Again, the Spirit Led me through the week.

Again, I come asking for prayers.  Many of you have heard of the shooting in a rural town in south Texas.  If not, here is a link: http://www.cnn.com/2017/11/05/us/first-baptist-church/index.html

Parents lost children, children lost parents, the pastor and his wife (were out of town) lost their daughter and many of the parishioners.  The visiting pastor also lost his life.  The shooter has also passed on.

Changing the subject, I was able to finish the charity quilt.  I have also touched base with the organization to which I have chosen to donate these quilt.  They will be delivered on Wednesday this week.

Our dear GS is holding the quits for me.  He came over to show us his truck:

I am also excited that I was able to order all the fabric for baby Avery Rose's quilt.   Not sure when it will get here.  So, in the mean time, I will finish up little things so my slate is clear to work on this quilt.  I also ordered enough fabric to complete the 'windowpane cross' quilt.

I am staying focused on God throughout my days.  This song has centered me lately:

May you have a Spirit led week.

Indeed, prayers go out to the Texas families.  Your generous quilt donation will be well recieved.

I did hear of the shooting in Texas.  A terrible thing to happen. My prayers are with the families who lost loved ones in this senseless act of violence.
