Off to the Northwoods!

Bright and early (well ... early at least) tomorrow morning, my DH and I will be headed off to the Northwoods of Wisconsin for TWO WEEKS! Yippee! Boy, can I ever feel the buzz of the old sewing machine! Once we get settled in, I'll have some fairly long stretches of time to sew, sew, sew. Woooohooo! Nope, I'm not too excited.
It's like my very own quilting retreat. And I'll make a trip over to Ironwood, Michigan, to one of my favorite quilt shops -- The Fabric Patch. It's an hour away, but so worth the drive!
And then there's the fishing. And birdwatching (including the bald eagles and osprey!). And visiting with family and friends. And keeping tabs on the new fawns. And going to the Memorial Day celebrations. And going out to eat at really great restaurants. And sleeping late. And the best part ... having my DH all to myself for days at a time! Now ... if I can just "lose" his Blackberry ... that would be the definition of heaven on earth.
