Quilt With Us

I'm working on another UFO.  This one has been in my basket for about 3 years.  It was a challenge piece in that the circles had to be as perfect as possible and pieced, then appliqued onto a whole cloth background.  The pathway is also a challenge as it was pieced together with strippy pieces in differing widths and cut to meander down the side of the whole cloth background.  It sat in my basket up to the sandwich stage.  So, I've again committed to working on it for at least 1 hour everyday and have gotten this far...

I am free motion quilting the entire thing, not marking any of it and just doing one section at a time.

Here is the back...

I love that it's not perfect, I love the challenge, and I love the way the quilting looks so far.   :0)

Looks great!  You can get a lot done with a steady commitment to small time increments.  They just seem more doable than the thought of tackling it all in one sitting.  (I need to take a page out of your book and set some small, doable goals.  Maybe then I'd accomplish something - anything!)  :)
