Quilt With Us

It is a good day to stay inside and sew/quilt all weekend! Woke up to -15 BRRRRR. I ordered fabric for the ct. cross st. quilt. As you can see I cut the two borders off with the flowers on them. Will use them on pillow cases. I have ordered another fabric for the second border from another company, but won't be here until Wed. then the third border will be a repeat of the first. This will be very Spring/Summery looking for the lake house! Stay warm ladies...it's a jammy kind of day here. We're suppose to get hit with another snow storm on Sunday!

Did you do the cross stitch on this? I love it and the fabric you chose for the borders. Very nice.

You find such great treasures and turn them into fantastic quilts. I love the fabric you bought for the border. That will sure be a summer-y quilt and beautiful on a bed. We have had one of the warmest January's that I can remember (mid 50-60's) for a few weeks. Now we are to get our rain again, and it's better than the snow blizzards in the rest of the country. Only problem, there is not enough snow in the mountains for the snow pack and wonder what this summer will be like-maybe water rationing. Guess we'll find out. Hope to see pictures of you quilt when it's finished.

Perfect fabric choice. You're good, girl!  With the lousy weather, it should be a joy to work on such a spring-y quilt.  You are taking that quilt to a whole new level.

I love the changes you have made to this top Pam.  I decided to stay in my jammies today too as it is cold and rainy outside.  We have had almost no snow so far this winter, but some is predicted over night.  I have another quilt almost finished.  Just need to trim off the threads and hand stitch down the binding.  Also need to make & attach a label and a hanging sleeve.
