Quilt With Us

I had hoped to have had this one done a year ago, but better late than never, right?  Anyway, Jenna doesn't know anything about it so it won't be late to her.  It is a Crabapple Hill pattern called 'Heirloom Romance'. I was going to make it for me but just wasn't getting to it and knew that if I was making it for someone else i would have a better chance of completing it.  It has been worked off/on for over 2 years now. Last night I put that last beads on the purses - they are all embellished with beads or buttons. Jenna is pretty 'girly' so I think she will love it. Her birthday is late November.   Now to get busy on Bailey's 'Elsa' dress for Halloween. It's cut out, so that major part is done.

That's a very lovely vintage type quilt for Jenna -- sweet and feminine.  You know, I've found that I can almost "zip out" a quilt for someone else, but if it's for me, or for no particular reason, it seems to take forever!  Glad I'm not alone in this peculiarity!

Thank you Janet.  Jenna is doing pretty good. Their move to a warmer climate was very good for her. Bailey being in preschool a couple mornings a week is also a huge help for her too. Next year, can you believe it, Kindergarten!
