Quilt With Us

Snowy day means good time to sew....

We are getting the first snow of the season and it has everything at a standstill! Could have eased us into it...

Been wanting to finish up a tree skirt for a new smaller tree I bought this year. I love the size and it is remote controlled!!!This was a pattern that Irene made a runner. I made a bed runner and liked it so much decided it would be perfect for a skirt.

We always host Thanksgiving...gets me organized and the house cleaned for the holidays. This year we have a new family that are in the military joining us. We will have four boys at the table...should be entertaining!

Wishing everyone a Blessed Thanksgiving...we have many blessings to be thankful for.

I love your tree skirt - applique is always so nice.  We had our first snowfall overnight - but it's melting now.  I always look forward to the snow - my dogs come in with clean feet!

Pam I love the tree skirt. If I had the time I would make one. Your Thanksgiving plans sounds like fun. I remember all the years my house was the gathering place for all Holiday meals. Now I get invited to the nursing home to have holiday dinners with Bud and other residents. And I don't have the mess to clean up.

Beautiful tree skirt, Pam!  Thanksgiving will be a fun one at your house.  Boys are a blast!  I'm sure there will be stories.  :)  Stopping to count my blessings always makes me more appreciative of what matters most...and they are usually not things.  So to my friends on QWU, I'm thankful for your friendships.

I love your tree skirt!

We currently are receiving what I call snain. It is a combination of rain and snow. We had our first snow, about 4 inches, weeks ago. Then we went back to summer for awhile, then fall. A week ago I waited until the ice melted to walk the dogs. Yesterday I could have worn shorts. Who knows what tomorrow will bring. (It better behave when we are flying to Minnesota for Christmas.)

Lovely tree skirt Pam.  I hope the snow is not a huge inconvenience.  We are getting colder temps, but no sign of snow yet.
