I enjoyed Easter week and all the family and religious festivities. Had two brothers with their families and a sister and her son who joined mom and I for Easter dinner. We had a rain storm on Sunday night. I went up to Oakhurst, CA to assist at the Wild Wonderful King Vintage Museum and was surprised to see snow on the ground in the foothills. The museum had a Lincoln Exhibit in March and the Soroptimist Organization assisted them in setting up the exhibit and then the take down and return of the regular exhibit. This museum is mainly run by volunteers. The Kings have quite a collection of vintage clothing form the 1800's on. It coordinated well with the Lincoln Exhibit. It was a great and inspiring experience.
I started a new quilt project today. I need to catch up with my Block of the Month project which the Quilt Guild started in January. I am halfway through the February blocks and have the March block to complete as well. It has some bright spring colors in it and does give me motivation and energy. Hopefully they will be done this week before the next block assignment arrives this month.
Hope all of you are enjoying great spring weather.
