Quilt With Us

For all of you who have been following the journey, here is the finished quilt. This is a quilt that I was asked to make for a gentlemen who for 20+ years has been the band director at a school in Collinsville, IL. He was a mentor for my daughter. My grandson also had him as a band director in high school and was taught saxophone by him. It was my honor to be asked to make this quilt out of 42 ties that had been given to him over the years. As you can see, the ties mostly pertain to music but have also some fun ties that the kids made or had made for him.
