Quilt With Us

It never fails...we are always fighting the weather! lol  We have had two wonderful months of sun and warm and will be heading into thunderstorms and a big snow storm on Friday into PA and NY!!! Welcome back! Luckily, we don't have to be anywhere until next week...but when you're headed home, that's where you want to be the shortest time possible! Will it ever give it up???

One thing about packing to go home, you don't have to decide what to take...it all has to go! Why did I buy so much crap??? It's not like the stores aren't the same in NY!lol

I think, I just enjoy watching hubby pack the jeep! He does have to be creative...let's hope we don't have a flat tire. We truly look like the hillbillies of NY!

Later...

Well Granny, I suggest you sit on top of the jeep in a rocking chair and put the spare tire in the front seat. LOL I'll say a prayer for your safe journey though this bad weather.

Pam, I don't envy you heading back into the snow and cold. Ken and I have truly enjoyed being out of the cold and rain in the NW. We don't plan on being back untul late April and we hope that it will have warmed up some by then. Have a safe trip back. As for buying all those things, you got to have something to show for your stay in FL. Me, I'm buying fat quarters to make a quilt to show our travels.

We made it to Roanoke at 6pm...drove through driving rain and hail...can't wait for sleet and freezing rain and snow tomorrow! Welcome back to Spring in the North!

Didn't you come down here in the face of a storm?  Timing my friend!  It's still COLD up there!  My friends in Albany,NY are saying they're predicting 12+" for Friday, you SURE you want to go back to that? (shudder!) Stay put for a few more weeks! lol!

But I will pray for safe travels for you, and remember, if you're coming up 95 through NC, stop and say hi!

Pam have a safe trip back.  Yes, unfortunately, we are expecting snow on Friday.  Ugh, the winter that refuses to give up.  I'm not one who likes the heat and humidity but the south is looking good right about now.  Hopefully, by the time you reach PA and NY, some of the snow will have melted again.  One can hope!

Safe travels.  We had snow here Monday and this morning.  It rained and was 70 degrees this afternoon. Crazy weather.

Welcome back Pam.  You've missed soooo much cold and snow, and cold and snow, and cold and, well, you know....................  At least our (brown) lawns are showing right now.
