My son is doing really well since his accident.  He still has soreness but even that is subsiding.

Now for the news that will leave you scatching your head.  Megan my cousin's granddaughter and her baby are OUT OF THE HOSPITAL.  She had a piece of her lung out to remove a bullet.  The other 6 bullet holes are healing on their own.  Once they took her off life support she started breathing on her own and never stopped.  The doctors are totally amazed that she is doing so well.  She went into cardiac arrest 7 times between here and getting her to Bangor.  They took the baby by lifeflight but Megan had to be taken by ground as they couldn't get her stabilzed enough to travel by air.  We are praising God for answering all the prayers for her and the baby.  She is still recovering at home. The concern now is her healing mentally from all this trauma now that she is home and going by the apartment where all this took place.  The baby is doing fine after his two surgeries on his foot.  Thank you for your prayers for this young mother and her child.

I will have an update on my sister after she talks to her doctor in Bangor on the 30th.  Things are not looking good right now for her.   Please continue to lift her up in prayer.  Thank you. ~ Irene

Wow, Irene.  What an amazing story of recovery. Praise the Lord!  Hopefully they will all continue to recover well.   I had to go back and re-read your earlier post.  You've had a lot to deal with in a short amount of time.  Hope you are hanging in there as well.  I'll be thinking of you.

Wow Irene, somehow I missed one of your blogs and I want say that I will be praying for recovery for you and all of your family members. Take care of yourself. Could you find a closer chiropractor? I switched because of travel and wait time, and I'm so glad I did. The first guy was good and I hated to do that, but it's worked out well.

We aren't meant to know God's mysteries, just be thankful that they happen.  I hope your sister can have peace with whatever is to come.

I love hearing the miracles that God performs. So much to rejoice and give thanks for, and still much to be praying for. I also pray for strength and comfort for you through all of this.

I am so happy for the good news with your son.  I hope Megan continues on her healing journey.  Thank goodness the baby is doing well, and will not have the same emotional hurdles as his mom.

I am so sorry that your sister isn't doing well.  I hope you have her in your life for many, many years yet.
