Quilt With Us

Oh BJ... What did you do?  I've been trying so hard to forget this birthday and here I see my face on QWU....you naughty girl. Anyway.... I had a great day all in all.   I started out at the gym trying to work off 20 years but alas it didn't work.  I walked out of the center with the same rolls and wrinkles that I had when I went in.  Then it was coffee at Starbucks with the gym rats and they proceeded to embarrass me further with a hat and some cameras.  Lesson learned?  Stay home on your birthday...gym day or not!  lol

I had a wonderful sushi lunch with my very handsome "older" ☺ hubby and then was off for dinner with friends and a Pioneer Women's Sewing Circle gathering at our local quilt shop.  A great day for an old lady.  I didn't have to fix a meal or do dishes.... Yeah!!!!

I spent last weekend with my new little GS, now 2-1/2 months and it was the MOST amazing experience ever.  My DS was 30 so we sent DS and DIL out of town for a night off and got to babysit little Luke.  I little scary at first but DH and I got in the groove after awhile.  Luke is such a chunky monkey that i came home Monday with really sore upper arm muscles.  Of course it was mostly my fault for not wanting to put him down for one minute.

What?  Trying to forget a birthday? NEVER!  They are WONDERFUL days to celebrate.  You aren't getting old, you are getting better and better.  So glad your day was so nice and that you didn't have to cook at all. Now that is something to celebrate. This year I get to celebrate the 6th anniversary of being 10! LOL

I can see why your arms were sore. I wouldn't want to put that handsome fellow down either.

Happy belated birthday and I sure hope you gave that little darling some extra hugs from all of us!

See you didn't need to go to the gym, you just need QT with Luke.  Now that Aiden is almost walking he doesn't want to be held or rocked to sleep anymore.   Again congrats on the B-day.  Luke is a cutie.

Fabulous! It's so fun when you can send the parents to the movie or out of town.

Belated Happy Birthday kiddo.  Sounds like it was a great time.  Little Luke is adorable and I'm sure his parents enjoyed some time alone as much as you enjoyed your time with Luke.
