Quilt With Us

Those winter blowy snowy days when you just want to hunker down and not put your nose out the door a good time to get a few thing sewn up in my sewing studio.

It may sound strange but getting my stock back up after last Christmas In Paris show and sale, to replenish my stoc for this year.. So here is some pouches I have worked on. A little bit of thread painting to embellish the front of these wool pouches.

And a thread painted Poppies in black thread then using my intense pencils I have painted in colour. Thinking I may put some very muted grey/pale blue behind, as I think it looks a bit stark, what do you gals think?

I am in the middle of more pouches will post when they are finished they seem to becoming very additive!!

Beautiful! I do agree that the Poppies need a little something to break up the background.

Very nice Ally.  I agree that the muted background would be nice.

Those wool pouches are beautiful!  Love the poppies, as well.  I do agree that a muted background would be nice.
