I not gone to the quilt show, but have been up & down to the west midlands as my uncle passed away a week ago so been up & down sorting things out & will be up there again for the funeral on Tuesday.

We been having rain so can't say we are having a summer at present i hope you will have a good week-end take care

Caught a cold after coming back from Turkey, had temperatures in the mid 80's & came back to temps in the low 60's!!!! Visited some lovely sites, amazing what they were able to do in the 1st-2nd century A.D.

Well going to try to get some ironing done, have a nice day everyone

I just love love the look and so happy to learn about boutis and its beginnings in the southern part of France. I am definitly going to try it. I think I will try to do a sample block which I can always turn into a pillow. My peony quilt has piece blocks and plain blocks. I would like to do some trapunto or boutis on those plain blocks. Thank you for opening my eyes to something new and oh so beautiful!

He changed his major from computer science to biology during his second year of college, and then transferred to another school, so it took him an extra semester to finish. He will be home, working, for six months, and will then enter a program to be certified as a teacher.

Je t`écris de St-Jean-sur-Richelieu. Est-ce que tu fais du boutis aussi ? Je suis allée il y a 4 ans prendre des cours de boutis à Calvisson dans les Camargues ainsi que de la broderie à Paris. J`ai une très bonne amie qui habite L`Espignan (elle est aussi d`origine québecoise) qui fait beaucoup de courtepointe. Elle a déjà gagné plusieurs prix et a été publié dans le Magic Patch. Cette année, elle a été sélectionné pour l`exposition de Ste-Marie-les-Mines.
Moi, je suis responsable de la programmation de ma guilde qui a 149 membres... J`ai préparé une variation de Dear Jane comme défi de l`année.

J`adore ton bargello et ton cube mais surtout tes quiltes blancs car je suis une maniaque du boutis !

It was a block a month that she picked up at a quilt show a couple of years ago. She did all the quilting by hand as she thought the machine quilting would spoil it. It is absolutely gorgeous. Sorry I didn't get a better picture of the quilting.
