Hi, Genevieve - Sorry it took me a month to respond to your comment. You are absolutely right about "fromage," of course, but I had it finished before I realized it. Really irked me because I am an editor and really know better. Just decided that would be my "vanity" part - you know, to remind me that no one but the Lord is perfect.
HI Genevieve, I love the cats helping you quilt. WOuldn't be the same without cat approval, huh? Love all the embroidery - where are you getting so many designs? Or are they original? Beautiful work. :-)
Hi Geneviève - wow - just saw your latest creation and all of the others - beautiful work - where are you from originally in Canada - really nice embrodrerie looking forward for your next work
Hello Genevieve,
Thank you for having me as a friend, your quilts and embroideries are fantastic. It's almost summer here in NH and there's so much yard work to do in the afternoon after my office hours. I just finished a baby quilt for Downy's Quilt for Kids and mailed that today. I will try to cut as many fabric circles the next 4 days to take with me on our train ride to Florida. I hope I can have enough to make at least a table runner. Your black cat is so much like mine - except that my Abigail is way too pudgy, she loves to eat.
Take care - Aida
Hi Genevieve and welcome to the EQ group. Many of us are still learning about all the things this design software can do, and are anticipating the arrival of EQ7.
By the way, your cats on the quilting frame look very similar to a scene at my home once in awhile (at least when I catch them there).
Hi Genevieve,
I was born the in the Philippines, and I am the director of the Filipino Cultural Group here in New Hampshire. We dance traditional folk dances from the Philippines, and occasionally perform Hawaiian dances too.
I love your quilt works, they are lovely.

Thanks for your compliment on my zig zag - it was one of mine all time favorites.
I have scraps left over, hopefully enough to make another one for me! I really loved that black and white quilt of yours!!
Hi Genevieve, I had to say "hi" to you. My mother's name was Genevieve! I love your embroidery! It seems like not many people do that anymore. I do love it!
Hi Genevieve: I have to say right away that your quilts are outstanding. The patterns and detail on those whole cloth pieces are so lovely and so wonderfully done. And I love your helpers. My cats usually find a similar place to curl up and they get downright testy if I make them get up. I have taken to covering anything I have on the quilt frame because then I have to quilt around all the cat hair. Actually my quilt studio is most commonly referred to around here as Ruby's room because our little black and white cat Ruby very seldom ventures out if it. While the others like to wander and will sleep most anywhere - even occasionally venturing outdoors, Ruby stays in "her" room and is quite pleased with herself there.
Welcome to the Quilt Frame. I'm so glad you found us and I hope you enjoy your time with us. We do have a great time here. Joyce
Hi Genevieve! How are you today? I think it will not rain here today...hurray! I enjoyed our chat the other day. I hope to catch you again soon! Have a great weekend!
Love the cats! Your photo of them on the quilt frame is priceless. I have my own fat cat named Mowzer (like mouser with a Z) that likes to sleep everywhere my fabric is at the moment. If I would ever get to the point of putting a project into my LGII frame, maybe mine would do the same as yours.
