Hi June, The swap instructions are posted on the Discussion Forum part of the group, Block Swappers Inc. You don't have to join the group unless you want to do the Block Swaps. You can pull up the group and read the instructions before you make the decision on doing the Swaps. Also, you do not have to do all of the swaps, just the ones that interest you. Hope you join us. Carol

Have a very happy birthday and enjoy your special day. My birthday is June 9 but the girls who come crafting on Mon. nights plus a couple of my close friends all came last night and they had a cake and also gave me enough to buy EQ7 quilting software. We had a great time!
Kaukauna is just south of Green Bay by Appleton. Sounds like we have alot in common. I too have step-grandkids, but so rarely get to see them. They live in Colorado and Missouri. Taking a trip this summer tho' for a visit and to see 3 great-grandkids we haven't seen yet.....We have 3 "kids" and 5 grandkids that live local. Can e-mail me too if you get down this way-Appleton area has 3 great quilt shops. firstname.lastname@example.org Good Evening, Dee
Hi June - will you tag your Club Sandwich Table Runner & Place mat photo so I can add it to the photo album? Go to the photo - and if you click on it so that you can add comments below the photo it will say add tags. If you click on this a text box comes up, then please type ldl. That way I can find it to put it in the album! By the way great job!
Good luck with your improvements. I can't wait to see photos! thank you for your lovely comments. I was overwhelmed as I read each and everyone and am trying to respond in what spare time I have! thanks again!

Good morning! It was such a pretty morning and I do feel blessed to have grown up and still have the opportunity to live this life. It probably sounds more romantic than what it really is, but we have enjoyed raising our kids out here.
Hope this finds you and your family doing well. Happy quilting! (I'm working on a table runner at the moment.)
Valders is located southeast of Green Bay, a little less than one hour. It's in Manitowoc County, along Lake Michigan. My mother's family lives in the Shawano area, and she is originally from Antigo. I've been as far as Rhinelander, but never as far NW as you are.
It was very muggy last night. We slept with the windows open and I could just feel it in the air all night!
June: I have a small in home pattern company. I try for super simple.....quick and easy. I sell my patterns only at this time. After attending the International Spring Quilt Market in Pittsburgh, I got contracts with McCalls pattern co, JoAnn's Fabric (Hancock), and Clotildes. Spring market is only wholesale so that is our goal. Now I have to try and get Checkers, Brewers, EEShenk and other distributors to pick me up. That was probably more than you wanted to know but thanks for asking. I love talking about my business and my hubby is bored to death with it. (I can't blame him) Have a great evening.
Good to hear from you, June! Guess if you're in the back seat, you can do the "driving" right?
DH was going for the laugh (which he got), because the dog usually hops in the back. Don't think she didn't think she was queen of the ranch that day! We weren't too far from home and it was just sprinkling yet, so he knew we wouldn't get too wet riding back there.
Summer is winding down here. DD just headed back to college today. It is a 4 1/2 - 5 hour drive. She was anxious to get back and see her friends. I didn't think she could possibly make everything she was planning to take with her fit in the car, but it did! My brother commented that how everything fit sometimes depended on the determination of the packer to MAKE it all fit! We had a nice summer together and got quite a bit accomplished. She helped me paint the porch (inside) last week and I discovered something about myself after all this time...painting makes me crabby! :0)
DS has football practice in the morning, but school doesn't officially start until Thursday. He'll be a senior. Time goes. He's not looking forward to being confined indoors again, but he'll survive. He actually does well in school grade-wise, just doesn't care much for it.
Hope all is well with your family. Happy quilting!
