Hi Paulette, long time since I've heard from anyone on this site, nice to hear from you. I think 2.5 cents and inch is a good price for meandering stitch work edge to edge, custom would be 3.5 to 5 cents. The size of the quilt shouldn't matter as long as your quilter has a table long enough. Post a picture so I can see what you created.
Hi!Paulette I apologize for taking so awful long to comment back to youits been a long 7 months sinceI last checked here onC.T.,to answer your first question about the ages of my 3 sons Carl is 30,Bob is 29&my youngest is 26,my 9 grand children range from 17 years ol down to age 2&to answer your second question,no I did not marry my now ex fiancee,he was not able to care for me&in April of 2009 he tol me &my two oldest son to get out of his how(I won't use the cuss word he used to us)I had known hileI was laid up in the second nursing home that he was seeing someone else&I was mad at him when he told me he asked me how much money it would take to get me out of his life in April ,befor my strokes in MayI suspected then about his having had an affair whileI was in the nursing home, when he did admit that he was seeing a woman, his reason was that he had needs thatI wasn't filling for him while I was laid up in the nursing home&whenI moved into his house. here is what hisprice isfor having a affairbehind my back is that she is 32 &he is 52 &come this Jan2012 his new woman&him will be parents to a baby boy,,hah so much for him going to retire sinceI ended our former 16 years of being engaged, and yes he wishes he had not thought that the pasture would be greener on the other side with a young virel woma to having a old ldy like me in his life ,serves him rightI even had told him prior to them discovering that she was pregnant ,thatI hoped the viagra he was taking would serve him well&it did:)well my dear I best end this long comment back to you,&I am very sorry it has taken me too long to answer all yourcomments to me,I had a wonderful52nd birthday on the 1st of this month:I am now back at going to physical theripy again to learn how to walk correctly my doc din't like my walking whenI had to see her several months ago,so she gave me a perscription tog etback int o theripy,I now go 2 to 3 times a week now&it is helping

Paulette, we had our Thanksgiving in Oct. in Canada. Didn't have it that weekend but the next weekend. It was a delicious turkey dinner with all the trimmings. You enjoy your Thanksgiving Dinner though.

Hi Paulette, There are days I want to take a sledge hammer to my computer, but then I remember I really do need it, so I stop just short of the destruction! I agree with you about Halloween. I love fall decorating (and am glad I can work as a landscape designer so I get to decorate clients' homes for the holidays) which I've sort of started at home-a few mums and will probably dig out the fall decorations next week. I'm working on putting together a quilt from a Halloween block swap from the East Coast Quilters and I have the Baltimore Halloween pattern from P3 designs, but don't know when I'm going to get them done. I'm looking forward to seeing the block/quilt you're working on. Let me know when you post the photo. Have a great day, Barb
Thanks for your comments. No I'm not really into Halloween but I am think of doing a table runner for Halloween. But I don't dress up.
I really love Christmas and have always been working the Christmas holidays at Sears but have decided this year that I'm not going back. As I'm so tired when Christmas comes I can't enjoy it. Last year I had the flu and spent it in bed!! Some Christmas, so I think I'm going to enjoy entertaining and all the things that goes with Christmas. At Christmas time Sears really sock the hours to you and seeing I'm seasonal worker for Christmas I can hardly complain. Anyway I'm looking forward to it this year. Just bought a two table runner kit from CT to make as Christmas gifts. LOL. Happy quilting.
