I love the embroidery design above and love the Stitching for Pink idea! I just finished the quilt below for a breast cancer raffel. We were able to raise almost $700 this year. If you can't view it from the file below, please let me know.

I don't see well enough to embroider. I'll make a pink quilt, OK? I lost my oldest daughter (50) with 2 kids, 10 & 12, last Sept. 4th. That's why I've been so quiet. Doing much better, now, but I still miss her everday!!

STAMP OUT CANCER OF ALL KINDS!

I wish my machine did embroidery so I could join this challenge!! I have two sisters who are recovering from breast cancer and I am a 14 year survivor of tonsilar cancer. This is a fabulous project!!

I'm sure the this is a very good cause, unfortunately, I have just a plain old sewing machine - no embroidery yet. Someday I hope!

I do not an embroidery Yet by machine. I have very little pink in my stash anyway. Good luck for those who can help.

My Machine doesn't go bigger than a 4 x 4.

Can I still be involved?

Ok Mary I just joined. Now I need to find out what I can contribute. I am a quilter first but I am willing to try something new. What is there other than the 4 embroidery projects ? Linda

I do wish you much good luck with this project! A couple of months ago, I participated in the Million Pillow
Case Challenge and had much fun with that. Unfortunately, my best form of working is the "my way" type of quilting, which wouldn't do much good, I don't think. But I wish you the best, and thank you for asking me.
Best wishes,
Mimi

Sorry, I went to the site and noticed it was machine embrdery. I only do hand embroidery and quilt.
Thanks for the offer. Cancer has touched our family many times.
God Bless you with your work.

Perhaps you are not aware but the "pink" thing started by the Komen group is one of the biggest scams perpetrated upon the US.
95% of all the money they collect goes to their pockets and not to research.
Should you doubt me Google Komen, Pink and scam.
See for yourselves what these self serving people do.

This year we are going to ky and mo to see my husbands family. Maybe next year I will make it to La. and we can get together. I finished my American Wave project and the last week I have done nothing but pilowcases for a group of ladies I sew with. Sometimes I spend more time on project for good causes then on things for myself. I just like sewing. Hope you had a happy holiday.
