Andrea, that is supposed to showcase the furbabies waiting on dad to drop some pulled pork from Christmas dinner. The flooring is just over a year old but its nice too.

I like scouring the puppy ads too!! I was up very late last night looking.  The Havanese are sooo cute.  I have contacted some sites, my heart says to wait until spring so it would be easier to housebreak one.  Trying to housebreak in the winter would be difficult.  Precious is fragile right now and I question bringing a puppy in after Mr not being here and with Lexie here off and on.  There is a little yorkiemaltese mix I found on Craigslist free to a good home that is 5 1/2 months old. Dale told me to call and go get him but for some reason I am hesitant.  I believe it is for all the reasons above and the fact that it is a male.  I really would love to have a female.  Males potty habits are not the best.

I have got to get ready to go to a wedding.  I will look for the pics tonight.  Thanks for the help and the name of the sites.  Lets keep each other posted.  Hugs, God Bless!   Linda

Andrea, I probably would have gone home with both of them!!!!! I miss Mr Man so much.  I had a breakdown tonight so bad.  I have got to get me another cuddler that is just all their is to it.
When I was crying Precious was licking my tears!!! She is such a sweet girl but she will not cuddle. She is a loner when it comes to being confined.

I wish you all the luck in the world finding the right dog.  No one can take Annie's or Mr's place but a new space can be created in our hearts for another!!! They will have their own little personalities and uniqueness!!! Let me know how it goes.  Glad to hear from you Andrea!!!!

Oh Andrea bless your sweet heart.  I will be praying for you this week, it is going to be a tough one for you but treasure the time you have with Annie to say goodbye.  I did with Mr.  We had long talks, and spent many hours together just being.  I pray that God will give you the strength you need to go the distance and that even though it will be hard (in it) you will find the spiritual joy that will also be a part of being with Annie as she leaves.  I also pray that you have a wonderful vet like I have that will be by your side and be understanding of your pain and that will not rush you.  I will be praying for you.

Thank you for telling me the web site of the jewelery.  I did have Mr Man cremated, just have not heard back from them yet.  They said it would be a week or wk and 1/2.  I will check into it.    You know I am glad I shared my story about Mr because I have received so much comfort from the comments of so many.  And as you have just said it helped you make your decision.

I will be praying for you.  I am going to send you a private e-mail with my home phone number on it.  If you need to talk or just cry I will be here for you!!!!

Sending love and hugs to you my friend.   Linda

Andrea I want you to know how much your comment to me on Thursday regarding Mr Man means to me.  Your sharing with me your own pain with Annie girl is so close to what I have been going through.  Mr Man and his sister Precious have been going through similar things like Annie.  However, just 5 or so wks ago we found out that Mr was really ill with renal disease. Not the typical arthritis and such that goes along with that age.  You know that sooner rather than later their last day will come and it is very painful.  I am still there with Precious. She is  blind but does well and she seems to be happy.  For that I am grateful and I am determined to enjoy every day she has left.  It is good that Annie is not in pain.  Precious takes pain meds twice a day.  I give them to her in cream cheese.  I laugh sometimes that my little poodle is on drugs. She knows when it is time for her pill, and will let me know it.  She tore a ligament in her foot a few months ago and the doctor said that sometimes they will build up scar tissue that acts like the ligament and it will get better on its own.  That is what happened but we still give her the pills.

Please if you do have to put Annie down, make sure that your vet gives her a shot to make her very sleepy before he injects the medicine to make her go to sleep.  It is so much more humane that way.  Some vets do not.  Mine did and Mr was not in pain and it went very fast.  I couldn't leave him.  He has been with me through my leg surgery, never leaving my side unless he had to and I could not leave him.  I thought I would after the doctor gave him the shot to make him sleepy but after that was done I knew more than ever I could not leave him for a second.  I am glad I stayed.

There is a scripture that says that when we are weak then He is strong.  God has proven to me over and over that He alone can give me the strength I need that I cannot get on my own.  He has never failed me yet when I gave it to Him.  He will get you through when the time comes.  I do pray that He will bless you with many more days and months with your precious "Annie".   Thank you so much for your comments and sharing.  Please keep me in the loop with "Annie".  I would like to be a comfort for you as you have been to me.  God Bless, Linda

Thank you Andrea on your comment about Holly. There is never a dull moment with her around.  You do beautiful work.  I see you own a long arm.

Hi Andrea,

Thank you for the compliment on my quilt.  I give away most of my quilts to a hospital, a long term care facility, a battered women's shelter, and a home for teen-aged mothers.  So I make easy, happy quilts.  I love your quilts.  Do you do your own quilting?  On a domestic or longarm?  Your elaborate quilting makes your quilts superb!

Congrats too on a wonderful family.

Hey kiddo-hang with me and I'll show you the wonders of the world! Actually the auction house in town had some great estate auctions this fall-to bad they closed, but probably a good thing for me so I don't buy more!

Andrea, your description was wonderful and you have saved my tons of fiddling with this to try and get the right designs in the blocks i am quilting!! I truely thank you as you have helped me tremendously!! I wish i could bring you some of the Zucchini bread i made as a thank you!! But, as always, those you have the most in common with, the more states you have between you in distance!! I was going to try drawing patterns on blue tape, cutting that out, somehow getting that evenly onto the quilt as a template... yeah never would have worked!! Thank you, my new Dear Friend!!

Hi Andrea...How exciting that I won the batting survey drawing.  I only posted once, at the very beginning, since I don't have too much to say about batting that others don't already know.  I'm so far from you to have any quilting done....I'm wondering, do you want to pick again since it's such a great prize and I'm afraid I won't get to use it? I won't be offended if you want to do that and someone closer can benefit from your generousity.  Just let me know.

Sandy
