:indy that is excellent you designed your quilt in EQ6, I just got my EQ out again, and I'm sure noticing that there isn't much documentation on embroidering. I've got to go look around and see if there is anything in EQ7 on the embroidery portions or if there are any other EQ stuff out there anywhere. I'm wanting to design an embroidery quilt called Jenny's Heritage -- it's an embroidery quilt but I want to make some changes in mine leaning away from some things that Jenny did. I just found the set block -- it was hiding for me. Are you familiar with any of the emb stuff. I used EQ making my Dear Jane I see your pic of that here too, I think the EQ DJ is much easier but I too love computer work and EQ -- I just need to get more familiar with you, I think I'll try to lean on you that way....big grin
My DJ top is in one piece but it isn't square one more think I'm putting off -- what year did you make your DJ?
Sorry it took me so long to get back with you about being your friend. I didn't see your request until now. Been busy taking care of my Father after heart surgery and it looks like being his caregiver will be a permanent job. I will have to find the time for "me" to do some sewing or I'll go crazy. I just love your artistic ability. Your quilts are beautiful!
Hi Cindy, you might want to check we EQ when you think about an upgrade. I believe at one time they did have some discount to go from 5 to 7. Discount or not, I would go ahead and get 7 since it does have some advantages over 6.
Thanks for the friend request. Nice to meet you! Your quilts are so beautiful. You are truly an artist! Seeing your Dear Jane has inspired me to get going on mine. I've been sewing on mine for almost 2 1/2 years and am almost finished with the top.
