Good Morning Jean, your tole painting is excellant, I used to dabble in tole painting years ago and really want to do more, but between quilting and scrapbooking and up to 8 weeks ago looking after my Mother in law I haven't time.
Your very welcome Jean. I used Heat N Bond on the letters on my Lighthouse block, I cut them out on my Cricut, it worked very well. You will find this site quite addictive. I have to force myself away from the computer somedays so I can get some actual quilting done.
I would never have noticed. I'd probably have to go back and fix it, too, if it were mine. But if you didn't want to fix it, you could always turn it into a game for baby. "Find the sheep with no ear." :0)
I like the speed of putting together baby quilts, too. I have a stack of them made up so I always have a baby gift ready to go when the need arrises. The problem is that my kids (amazingly enough) like the quilts and aren't too crazy about me giving them away. The know I rarely make the same quilt twice - with the exception of the little prairie point pinwheel quilts. Those go together so quickly and are so fun that I've made several of them.
I'm not the best applique-er, but I love the look of applique quilts. That is a skill I need to work on and become more comfortable with.
Have a good week!
