Hi Bonita - Thanks for asking me to be your friend. Hope you enjoy the site. There lots of interest sites so take a look. I'm really on the Love of Art Quilts a lot but have a few others that I am on also. I think I chose the LOAQ group as this is an area where I'm challenged and I wanted to get out of my comfort zone.

Hope you are enjoying your new machine.   Ally.

Hi Bonita, Thank you for wanting to be my frieind and can never have enough. Guess I'm the lucky one, because I've never smoked. It didn't appeal to me and I didn't want to smell like smoke. Here's to your quitting and enjoying being smoke free. I live in Woodinville, WA, which is about a 3 1/2 hour drive from Vancouver. I'm about 20 miles NE of Seattle, just 12 miles north of Bellevue. There are lots of QWU in WA.

Thank you Bonita for inviting me to be your friend. It is my pleasure. I hope your doing well, regarding the smoking. I have never smoked but from what I hear from those who have quit it's a tough task. But I know you can do it. One "hour" to a time.

Hi Bonita, I too am trying once again to kick the nasty smoking habit, quit for 2 months, then things started getting too much, had one, then another, am on the chantix again, am awaiting some fabrics and embordiery thread then plan to do some old fashioned hand embordiery to keep hands and mind busy, also have a couple bags of combos, help to keep mouth busy, so know exackly what you are going thru. agree that sewing helps alot, if only did not have to work and could sew all day, might help too. ha ha ha
