Mary, Love your quilt!! What a great color combo. I never thougt about doubling the bat, what a great idea for a winter quilt. We have had to lower the thermostat this year and it has been getting pretty cold at night here in MD the last couple weeks. I know, I know I am a big sissy when it comes to cold weather. I HATE IT!! I keep telling my DH that he needs to move me south. But even they are colder than normal right too. Oh well... Can't wait for spring to get here.

Your quilt is great. Believe it or not all the quilts I have finished go to someone else. The ones I plan to keep for myself are still wating to be quilted. Was it hard to quilt with two batting layers? What do you quilt on?

Mary, lovely job! What could possibly be nicer than covering your husband and yourself with a quilt. I appreciate it every night. When I read that you used two layers of batting I was dubious, but this looks great.

Good morning Mary:

How did you end up in MT? How often do you get to WI? It is extremely cold here and I keep wondering why did I choose to move back to the frozen tundra. I love the change of seasons and the quieter pace of life but hate the icy. I find it hard to make myself go out when it is really cold much to the dismay of my dog Spice. She enjoys a walk no matter what. Mary Jane

Hi Mary, I know what you mean about the roads! We are up here by Zortman/Landusky just south of Malta. So we are practically neighbors! We expect our roads to be closed tomorrow again. We had no mail last Thursday, Friday or Saturday thanks to the road closures! I'm so looking forward to staring on this online BOM. It's the first one for me online!
Happy Quilting!
